A Day in Liverpool (April 2013)

Hey everyone,

A day in Liverpool was adequate for us during our visit to Europe.

From the Manchester Airport, we took a train to the Liverpool Lime Street Station which costed about
£17 return. The journey was about 1 hour and 15 minutes. You may buy your ticket earlier with cheaper price here http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/.
Our first stop was the Liverpool FC. From the city exit at the station, go to your left and  you will see the Queen Square Bus Station on your right. Take the bus no. 17 and get off at Anfield. You will see the Liverpool FC stadium right next to you.

At the Queen Square Bus Station, we found a Halal Nandos Restaurant. So yeay! We had chicken for lunch.....
Liverpool Museum Tour & Centre and Liverpool FC Club Store

Our next stop was Albert Dock. We headed back to the Queen Square Station and walked towards the Liverpool One shopping mall and James Street Station. From there, you will see the Albert Dock on your right, across the street. It took us around 20 minutes.

Liverpool Eye at Albert Dock?
Our destination at the Albert Dock was of course the Beatles Story. You may also find souvenirs shop at  the Albert Dock.
Then we headed back to the Liverpool ONE shopping mall to do some shopping. Other options will be St. John Shopping Centre and Wayfarers Shopping Arcade which are all nearby.

Wait for my next and last entry on our day trip to Belgium.

XOXO :P
